Who is Whitehorse Orchestra

 

The Whitehorse Orchestra is a community orchestra, centred in the Box Hill area in Victoria, Australia, which rehearses on Saturday mornings throughout the year. It has over 80 playing members. The orchestra provides an excellent and enjoyable musical experience for musicians of all ages, and performs regularly in public.

Our next concerts will be on Saturday 22nd June at Kingswood College, Box Hill South. Each of two concerts will consist of Paddington in Concert and Tubby the Tuba. Booking is now available from this page (right column or bottom). These concerts provide a friendly and relaxed environment for children to receive an early introduction to live orchestral music, led by our Musical Director and Conductor, Gerald Keuneman OAM. Following this we will have another concert at MLC, Kew on Saturday 17th August, which will include the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No 2.  Purchase tickets from this page when they become available.
